Thrix update: Multi-reference paragraphs, social media citations, and more!

We’ve just updated Thrix to make it more powerful than ever!
Thrix now makes editing references faster, smarter, and more accurate across a wide range of tasks – from editing author initials to handling social media citations and multi-reference paragraphs.
Here’s what’s new:
- Better handling of multi-reference paragraphs
Thrix now recognizes citations like [23b] and separates multi-reference paragraphs into individual paragraphs when converting to author–date (Harvard) style. - Social media profile references edited
Thrix can now recognize and edit social media profile references, like LinkedIn, X, and Facebook. - Brand new editorial rules applied according to style
- Hyphens within a person’s initials: M-J / MJ
- Number of initials to include for each author: KAF / KA / K
- New editorial preferences for specific styles
- Punctuation before editors: Semicolon (ACS)
- Page count style: 10 p. (CSE)
- Bug fixes and reliability improvements
- fixed empty tables in header or footer causing unopenable Word document
- fixed a double point appearing in some references
- much better handling of page breaks, line breaks, and paragraph returns
