Add missing details

Add missing details

Automatically add missing reference details using trusted metadata from Crossref and PubMed. Thrix can add missing:

  • author and editor names
  • article, chapter, or journal titles
  • page, volume, and issue numbers
  • publisher names and locations
  • dates

Cross-check reference lists with in-text citations: inconsistencies, missing references, and uncited references are all flagged for your attention.

Example

Before

1. Cuneo. Detection and successful treatment of emergent anti-SSA-mediated fetal atrioventricular block. Am J Obstet Gynecol.

After

1. Cuneo BF, Ambrose SE, Tworetzky W. Detection and successful treatment of emergent anti-SSA-mediated fetal atrioventricular block.  Am J Obstet Gynecol. 2016;215(4):527-528. doi:10.1016/j.ajog.2016.07.002.

Thrix won’t hallucinate or guess missing details like other AIs. If it isn’t confident in a change, it will add a comment with a suggestion instead.

Add DOIs and PMIDs

Add DOIs and PMIDs

Add DOI and PubMed links/IDs to your references with a single click.

You can do this as part of converting to a style that requires them, like APA, or use special styles like Just add DOIs to enhance references without changing anything else.
