Thrix update: Fewer comments, more corrections

We’ve just released a major update to Thrix – bringing fewer comments, more automatic corrections, and new alerts for retracted articles.

What’s new?

  • Automatically add website names from URLs
  • Automatically update article titles from PubMed and Crossref
  • Validate URLs with no false alarms and clear, specific error descriptions
  • See fewer comments on unmatched details or when references differ significantly from Crossref/PubMed
  • Detect and flag retracted articles
  • Correctly separate organizational authors in AMA style with a semicolon
  • Preserve bookmarks in the source document
